CTE Students Earn Adobe Certification

The Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) Certification is a credential that validates entry level skills needed to plan, design, build, and...  lan, design, build, and maintain effective media communications by using different forms of digital media. Students from Eastwood High School, Ysleta ISD in El Paso, recently earned the ACA certification in Visual Communication using Adobe Photoshop CS4. They took the ACA test as part of their Business Image Management and Multimedia Class.

TIVA will host their summer professional development conference in Houston the week of July 12th, and all three Adobe certification classes are filled. The conference is sold out.

This all started with our partnership with the TIVA organization-- the teacher, Hisa Rosa, attended last year’s TIVA summer conference, returned with the skills to prepare his students for the ACA certification.

CTE teacher Hisa Rosa, plans to roll this out further for 2011 based on this success. Scott Trudeau’s (Senior Solutions Engineer, Adobe Systems) recent visit with his group has also spurred big interest in CS5 migration.
